Where do we start? I have designed and checked out this tour myself, I enjoyed it so much I want you to do it! A tour that really is for 4 – 6 people, making it easy to get where we want with flights, accommodations and visits.

Day 1 Starting in Glasgow, we head up to Oban and visit Oban Distillery – either a tour or drams in the bar upstairs. Overnight here in this, the seafood capital of Scotland see; https://whiskytours.scot/oban-pre-christmas-jaunt/  Stay tonight in Paul’s favourite place, Oban.

Day 2 A ferry to the Isle of Mull, drop in to Tobermory Distillery, sample Tob and Ledaig drams, enjoy lunch in our pal’s pub Macgochans, right next to the distillery. Free time to wander about town, before away to visit a couple of witches – with a dram of course – possibly the Dark Arts? Maybe even visit Paul’s castle; Duart. Return on the ferry to Oban for another night.

Day 3 Ok, lets fly to Islay; http://whiskytours.scot/flighting-oban-islay/ Day 4 Islay

Day 5 we return to Oban, collect luggage and head south, stopping at Kilmartin Glen for the standing stones and burial cairns (5000 years old by the way!).  Then time for lunch in the village pub. South again to Tarbert, time here for walking around the harbour, maybe up to the ruined castle? There’s a wee whisky shop at the harbour, some great bottles available, including his own Macallan cask! Our hotel tonight is Stonefield Castle in Tarbert.

Day 6 A day out to Campbeltown as we call into Glen Scotia and Springbank distilleries, also Cadenhead shop. We will have time for lunch before returning to the castle for another night.

Day 7 Och coming to an end now (unless you want more), we wave goodbye to the castle and head back to Inveraray for an early lunch/whisky shopping. Then heading to Perth via superb scenery and a stop at Glenturret Distillery for shopping/taste, no tour. In Perth where you stay a final night, we visit Paul’s local pub The King James, where King James was murdered by the way!

Day 8  A transfer to Glasgow and/or Edinburgh, with a distillery on the way, we can arrange an overnight if needed.

Please ask for details and costs for this unique tour, much depends on your numbers and dates. liz@mcleanscotland.co.uk
